Mr. J primarily specializes in neotraditional styles but also loves creating American traditional and free-hand abstract tattoos. He always enjoys working in other tattoo styles including geometric, Japanese traditional, art nouveau and realism. Need something altered? He is very efficient at coverups, black-outs, and restorations as well. There are very few projects he will say ‘no’ to, especially those of a spooky or nerdy nature.
My Story
Chase, or “Mr. J” is currently in his 5th year of professional tattooing.
Though he has his specialties, he is always striving to expand his skills into nearly every other style of tattooing and art. Essentially, he has been drawing since he knew how to hold a pencil. Much of his artistic experience has been a combination of self-teaching, public and private tutors, and independent research. He enjoys the challenges of trying new art forms or new techniques with each piece he creates. When not creating, he enjoys reading poetry, discovering new music, traveling and playing video games. He is also always continuing his pursuit of scientific knowledge in nearly all fields. Finally, he has a deep passion for sharks and plans to eventually commit more of his life towards their conservation and protection.
